Beginning of Chicago Doc Fest and film trailers

Hello!

This is my first blog here on wordpress! :) I am excited!

I thought it was a good idea to start blogging as the Chicago Doc Festival is going on since I am sure I will have lots of ideas related to the movies I am about to see. This morning I searched YouTube for trailers of the featured films and was pleased to find some. Below is a Video show I created with 3 movie trailers for Dream Havana, Mystic Ball, and Tea Boy of Gaza, and a well made video about the Orange Revolution.

The opening of the Fest last night was great! Frederick Wiseman got an award for Lifetime Achievement, and the people who helped make Hoop Dreams have distribution success got an award as well!

The film about Litvinenko was very timely, had wonderful original footage and added an extra dimention to the mysterious case of Litvinenko’s death.  We had a lively discussion after the movie which I enjoyed very much!

This afternoon I am going to see Freeheld and Recycled Life!

Have a wonderful weekend and please post about movies that you see at the Fest!
